- Installation environment layout requirements
The air compressor directly inhales air from the atmosphere. To reduce the possibility of wear, corrosion and explosion of the unit, the machine space must have a certain distance from where the explosives such as explosives, corrosives, toxic gases, dust, etc. are emitted, due to the compressor. Large heat dissipation, especially in summer, the temperature inside the machine is very high, so the orientation of the machine room should be so that the machine is well ventilated and the sun is reduced.
Although the compressor has a box body, it is strictly forbidden to rain, so the compressor does not need to be installed in the open air. The compressor room should be a separate building.
The compressor chamber must be equipped with a permanent carbon dioxide fire extinguisher whose manual switch must be placed outside the hazard zone. And can be reached at any time. Fire extinguishers Carbon dioxide fire extinguishers or powder fire extinguishers should be placed near a protected target, but should be outside the hazard zone.
- Pipeline installation requirements
The unit supply port unit has a threaded connection and can be connected to your air supply line. Please refer to the factory manual for installation dimensions.
To avoid impact on the operation of the entire station or other unit during maintenance, and to avoid reliable compressed airflow during maintenance, shut-off valves must be installed between the unit and the gas storage tank.
To avoid the influence of gas during filter maintenance, there should be a spare line on each filter line.
The branch line must be taken from the top of the main line to prevent condensation from flowing to the compressor unit.
The pipe is as short as possible and straight, reducing elbows and various valves to reduce pressure loss.
- Anti-corrosion air pipeline
After the installation is complete and the pressure test is continued, surface dust, dirt, rust, welding slag, etc. are removed and the paint is considered anti-rust treatment. Pipeline drawings have anti-rust function, extend the service life of pipes, and are also easy to identify and beautiful. Generally, apply anti-rust paint on the surface first, and apply a specific blend of paint.
- Air pipeline protection
When high-voltage electricity caused by lightning in a pipeline is introduced into workshop piping systems and gas appliances, it will cause personal safety accidents. Therefore, the pipeline should have a good foundation before entering the workshop.
- Loss of line pressure
When gas flows in a tube, friction resistance is generated in the straight pipe section; local resistance is generated on valves, tees, elbows, reductions, etc., resulting in loss of gas pressure.
Note: The overall pressure drop in the pipeline section should also be added to the pressure loss caused by the elbows, joints of different diameters, tees, valves, etc. These values can be found in the relevant manuals.
